_{This year, Emote Secret Santa was hosted by `Synfull and =BlissfullySarcastic, who were lovely enough to allow me a special extension so I could still participate in ESS despite being away until the 18th of December - once I'd sworn on my book collection that I'd get it done in time

In the draw, I was assigned `SparklyDest whose keywords were her OCs, sparkles, pumpkins and spooky, with the added note that she'd be happy with an avatar.

I'll admit, I approached it with some trepidation considering I hadn't pixelled in over 4 months. Considering how busy I was before I left, it's probably been closer to 6 since I actually sat down and seriously pixelled anything, so this... started badly I think I shaded the pumpkin about 6 times because the first 5 were absolutely shocking, but I'm really pleased with how it turned out in the end.

This is probably now the piece in my gallery I'm actually most proud of. I think the break in pixelling has probably actually made me better because I have to think about how to do things again, I can't autopilot them anymore Either way, I'm hoping that I can continue to keep up this level of work, because if I can be as proud of every piece I produce from now on as I am of this one, I shall be a very, very happy Kyra

This is absolutely amazeballs. I love how you included a spooky pumpkin into a winter scene....with sparklystars, no less! This is waaaay more than I expected, and I love it to bits and pieces. Thank you so much for putting so much time into it, it is so completely awesome.
